The Jarold fan measures 13 inches in height and width, with blades pitched at 31 degrees to maximize air movement. It delivers an airflow of 800 cubic feet per minute at low speed and up to 1162 cubic feet per minute at high speed, ensuring effective ventilation tailored to room requirements. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, heavy spun, and stamped steel, the fan ensures longevity and structural integrity.
Design and Materials
Each fan head knob and motor mount are crafted from genuine marbleized Bakelite, combining aesthetic appeal with functional durability. The fan includes three blades, with blade options available in metal with decorative guards, solid Brazilian mahogany harvested ecologically, or metal blades with safety cages for low ceiling applications (7 ft US / 8.2 ft Canada). The fan is designed to hang via a stem mounting method and comes with a 10-inch downrod; additional downrods of 5, 20, or 30 inches are available and can be field-cut as needed.
Installation and Control
The Jarold features a flat ceiling canopy suitable for standard ceilings but is not compatible with vaulted ceiling canopies. It includes a Decora-style 3-speed wall switch in white for precise speed control. Safety cages are available for installations in low ceiling environments. This fan is rated for damp locations when finished with powder or clear coat, expanding its usability in various interior settings.
