This fan features vortex-sculpted arms that hold side-mounted fan heads capable of gentle equatorial rotation. The fan heads can be infinitely positioned within a 180-degree arc, allowing precise adjustment for optimal airflow direction. Unlike traditional oscillating fans, the Italo Ventania’s fan heads pivot to change direction, and the axial rotation speed is controlled by the angle of the motor relative to the horizontal support rods and blade speed.
Technical Specifications
The fan measures 13 inches in height and 60 inches in width, with a blade pitch of 31 degrees designed to maximize airflow efficiency. It delivers an airflow of 1,372 cubic feet per minute at low speed and 2,278 cubic feet per minute at high speed, facilitating superior air and heat circulation compared to conventional paddle fans. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, heavy spun, and stamped steel, the fan ensures longevity and robust performance. Each motor mount and fan head knob is crafted from genuine marbleized Bakelite, adding a refined touch of craftsmanship.
Installation and Customization
The Italo Ventania comes standard with a 10-inch downrod and a flat ceiling canopy, compatible with an optional 29-degree vaulted ceiling canopy accessory. Additional downrod lengths of 5, 20, 30, 48, or 72 inches are available to accommodate various ceiling heights and can be easily field-cut for custom installation. The fan is designed for stem hanging and supports damp location use with powder or clear coat finishes. Safety cages are available for low ceiling applications (minimum 7 feet in the US, 8.2 feet in Canada).
Blade Options and Warranty
Choose from multiple blade configurations to suit your aesthetic and functional needs: metal blades with decorative metal guards, solid ecologically harvested Brazilian mahogany blades without guards, or metal blades with safety cages for enhanced protection in low ceiling environments.
