Its robust construction utilizes premium materials including brass, glass, and steel, ensuring durability and a refined industrial look. The pendant features four cone-shaped glass shades that distribute light evenly, making it ideal for installation above kitchen islands or dining tables.
Technical Specifications and Performance
Delivering a total lumen output of 220 lumens, the Orwell pendant supports four incandescent bulbs with a maximum rating of 100 watts per socket. It is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs as well, providing flexibility in lighting options. The fixture is UL/CUL damp rated, suitable for use in damp locations, and includes a solid brass 90-degree hang straight swivel that accommodates sloped or vaulted ceilings. This pendant is dimmable, allowing precise control over lighting ambiance.
Installation and Customization Features
The pendant comes with 10 feet of wire and an assortment of stems—two 6-inch and four 12-inch—enabling adjustable hanging heights to fit various ceiling configurations. Additional stems measuring 3, 6, and 12 inches can be ordered separately to further customize the installation. The heavy cast canopy, measuring 6 by 4.5 inches and constructed from 2mm thick metal, provides secure ceiling mounting and complements the fixture’s industrial design.
