The fan measures 1 inch in height and 13 inches in width, with a blade pitch set at 31 degrees to maximize airflow performance. It delivers 814 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at low speed and up to 1199 CFM at high speed, providing effective air circulation tailored to your environment. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, heavy spun, and stamped steel, the fan ensures long-lasting reliability backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
Design and Materials
The motor mount and fan head knob are crafted from genuine marbleized Bakelite, contributing to the fan’s distinctive aesthetic and durability. The Bianca comes equipped with three blades, with blade options including metal blades with decorative guards, solid Brazilian mahogany blades harvested ecologically, or metal blades with safety cages suitable for low ceiling applications (minimum ceiling height 7 ft in the US / 8.2 ft in Canada).
Installation Details
This ceiling fan is designed for stem hanging and includes a standard 10-inch downrod, with optional 5", 20", and 30" downrods available to accommodate various ceiling heights (30" maximum). Downrods are easily field cut and are not threaded. The fan comes with a flat ceiling canopy and is not compatible with vaulted ceiling canopies. A Decora-style 3-speed wall switch in white is included for convenient speed control.
Additional Features
The Bianca fan is handmade by Matthews-Gerbar, ensuring artisanal quality rather than mass production. It is suitable for damp locations when finished with powder or clear coat. Note that the fan does not oscillate automatically; however, the fan head can be manually pivoted to adjust airflow direction. Safety cages are available for installations requiring low ceiling clearance.
