Product Overview
Enhance your indoor air circulation with the Brisa 2000 - 40 Inch Rotational Ceiling Fan, a meticulously handcrafted fan engineered for efficient and customizable airflow. Featuring a 40-inch diameter and a height of 16 inches, this fan is designed with precision to optimize air movement in residential or commercial spaces.
Technical Specifications
The fan incorporates three select mahogany blades mounted on a spherical gear housing, allowing infinite positioning within a 180-degree arc for tailored airflow direction. The blade pitch is set at 19 degrees, facilitating controlled axial rotation that varies with the fan head angle and blade speed. Airflow capacity ranges from 1,602 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at low speed to 2,376 CFM at high speed, ensuring versatile performance to suit your ventilation needs.
Construction and Materials
Constructed from durable cast aluminum, heavy spun, and stamped steel, the Brisa 2000 guarantees longevity and stability. Unique motor mounts and fan head knobs are crafted from genuine marbleized Bakelite, combining functional design with aesthetic appeal. The fan includes a flat ceiling canopy compatible with standard flat ceilings but not vaulted ceiling applications.
Installation and Operation
This ceiling fan is suspended via a stem hanging method and comes standard with a 10-inch downrod, with optional downrods available in 5", 20", 30", 48", or 72" lengths. These downrods are easily field cut to accommodate specific ceiling heights and are not threaded. Operation is controlled by a Decora-style 3-speed wall switch included in white, allowing seamless speed adjustment.
Blade Options and Safety
Multiple blade configurations are available, including metal blades with decorative guards, solid ecologically harvested Brazilian mahogany blades without guards, and metal blades with safety cages designed for low ceiling installations (minimum ceiling height of 7 feet in the US and 8.2 feet in Canada). Safety cages are also available as an accessory for enhanced protection in low clearance areas.
Additional Features and Warranty
The Brisa 2000 rotational ceiling fan excels in circulating heat and air conditioning more efficiently than traditional paddle fans due to its unique rotational design. It is suitable for damp locations when finished with powder or clear coat but is not recommended for saltwater or oceanfront environments. Each fan is handmade, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
