Product Overview
Expand air circulation efficiency with the Brisa 2000 - 39 Inch Rotational Ceiling Fan, a precision-engineered fixture designed to optimize airflow and enhance environmental comfort. Measuring 39 inches in width and 16 inches in height, this fan features a unique rotational design where the fan head pivots within a 180-degree arc, allowing for customizable air movement direction. Unlike traditional oscillating fans, the Brisa 2000 achieves controlled axial rotation through adjustable fan head positioning combined with variable blade speed, delivering superior heat and air conditioning circulation.
Technical Specifications
The fan blades are set at a 31-degree pitch, contributing to an efficient airflow of up to 1265 cubic feet per minute on high speed and 790 cubic feet per minute on low speed. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, heavy spun and stamped steel, the fan ensures longevity and robust performance. The three blades are crafted from select mahogany or metal options, featuring a low-noise operation facilitated by a spherical gear housing. The fan mounting utilizes a 10-inch downrod standard, with optional lengths of 5, 20, 30, 48, or 72 inches available to accommodate various ceiling heights; these downrods are field-cuttable for precise installation.
Design and Materials
The Brisa 2000 fan combines aesthetic appeal with functional design. Each fan head knob and motor mount is made from genuine marbleized Bakelite, adding a distinctive touch of craftsmanship. The fan’s components include metal blades with optional decorative guards or solid Brazilian mahogany blades harvested ecologically. For low ceiling installations (minimum 7 feet in the US or 8.2 feet in Canada), metal blades can be equipped with safety cages to ensure compliance and safety. The flat ceiling canopy is standard, although it is not compatible with vaulted ceiling canopy accessories.
Installation and Compatibility
Designed for stem hanging method, the Brisa 2000 is suitable for damp locations when finished with powder or clear coating, but it is not recommended for saltwater or oceanfront environments. Installation includes a Decora-style 3-speed wall switch in white, providing convenient speed control. The fan’s non-mass-produced, handcrafted quality ensures a unique product with a limited lifetime warranty, underscoring Matthews-Gerbar’s commitment to durability and customer satisfaction.
